Battery Act Notice
1. Battery and Accumulator Return
Under the Battery Act (BattG), we want to inform you that, as a consumer, you are required to return used batteries and accumulators. You can return them either to our store or to public collection points set up for battery and accumulator disposal. Alternatively, you can send the batteries and accumulators back to us, and we will ensure their environmentally friendly disposal.
2. Collection of Used Batteries
We are obliged to inform you that you can return batteries and accumulators purchased from us, or those that are no longer needed, at the end of their life. You can either return them directly to our store or send them to us by mail. Please note that the cost of returning batteries and accumulators is covered by us.
3. Symbols on Batteries
Please note that batteries and accumulators containing hazardous substances are marked with a crossed-out wheeled bin symbol. The chemical symbols "Cd" (for Cadmium), "Pb" (for Lead), or "Hg" (for Mercury) indicate that the battery or accumulator contains harmful substances. These symbols help you ensure proper environmental disposal.
4. Environmental Protection
We are committed to our responsibility towards the environment and strive to ensure the proper disposal of batteries and accumulators. By returning and disposing of them correctly, you also contribute to environmental protection.
5. Contact
If you have any questions about returning batteries or accumulators, please feel free to contact us by email or phone.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
