What is the KR Concept?
The Fuji KR Concept is an evolution of the New Guide Concept (NGC), specifically developed for use with braided lines. It combines the advantages of the NGC with modern insights to optimize the performance of fishing rods.
Core principles of the KR Concept:
Use of high-frame, smaller rings: Instead of larger rings, the KR Concept relies on smaller rings with higher frames. This construction allows for faster line control and reduces the overall weight of the rod.
“Rapid Choke” principle: By enabling faster line control, the point where the line runs close to the blank (choke point) is moved closer to the reel seat. This leads to more efficient power transfer and improves casting performance.
Tangle-Free Design: The K-Series rings of the KR Concept feature a special design that reduces tangles during casting. This allows for a smoother fishing experience.
