Stable graphite/nylon reel seat by Pacific Bay. The reel seat is significantly lighter than any metal seat and offers better corrosion resistance; the material also feels warmer. The self-adjusting stainless steel reel shoes have a graphite/nylon insert to prevent possible corrosion. Between the locking nut and the movable reel shoe, there is a special washer to keep friction as low as possible when opening and closing. Furthermore, the bore is grooved to ensure an optimal connection with the blank.
