ProPaste has been developed as a pasty adhesive specifically for rod building and offers all the properties one would expect from a rod building adhesive. The adhesive mixes well, provides a sufficiently long working time, and has extreme strength after curing. Propaste bonds all materials used in rod building, such as carbon, fiberglass, bamboo, cork, rigid foam, wood, aluminum, nickel, nylon, etc.
The gel is mixed in a volume ratio of 1:1 and does not require additional fillers, which means that the permanent strength is not negatively affected while maintaining appropriate flexibility. Due to its pasty consistency, the adhesive is very easy to work with, and irregularities in the components to be bonded are easily compensated for, while the adhesive does not shrink during curing and does not form cracks.
The gel is 100% waterproof and retains its high strength and flexibility even under the most extreme conditions.
The working time is 30-45 minutes. After about 8 hours, the adhesive is firm, with the final curing occurring after a few days.
