Ideal for use as a fly rod guide ring!
Lightweight, high-quality two-leg ring with LS insert in a PVD-coated stainless steel frame. The PVD coating ensures high resistance to corrosion and other external influences. During the coating process, ion particles are applied to the stainless steel frame at very high temperatures using a vacuum method, achieving an optimal bond. Deeply pressed and additionally secured with a flexible adhesive featuring the following characteristics:
- The frame is made of marine-grade SS316 material, providing very high strength and optimal corrosion resistance.
- PVD-coated surface
- Slender LS insert made of ZrO2 in black. The highly polished insert offers SIC-like top properties.
- Very lightweight two-leg frame with special anti-tangle geometry to largely prevent line tangling.
- Due to the deep pressing, the insert is better protected against mechanical influences.
- The frame geometry gives the ring very high strength through appropriate angle positioning, despite its delicate appearance.
