Water slide decal film for printing with an inkjet printer. This decal allows for optimal transfer of labels or graphics onto the blank or other objects. The film has the following properties:
Size = A4
Color = Transparent
Printer type = Inkjet
We sale 1 sheet/set (1 DIN A4), this set consists of 1 sheet.
Instructions:
- Remove the protective paper, if present.
- Insert the paper into the manual feed of the printer.
- Select 'Labels' or 'Thick, glossy paper' as the media type.
- Print the corresponding image with an inkjet printer or copier on the glossy side of the decal film. Always insert only one sheet to avoid possible paper jams.
- Let the print dry for about 5 minutes. For prints made with an inkjet printer, a sealing of the printed area with a commercially available acrylic clear coat should be done.
- Cut the graphic as close to the image as possible with sharp scissors.
- Place the graphic in a bowl of lukewarm water for about 45-60 seconds. The decal will now separate from the carrier material.
- The decal can now be positioned on a damp surface.
- Use a soft, clean paper towel to dab off excess water and remove air bubbles, if present.
- The decal should now dry for about 3 hours.
- After that, the rod varnish is applied as usual for final sealing.
