The TAC Butt Assembly Carbon Set is a high-quality, modular end-cap system for fishing rods. It not only enables quick and clean butt replacement, but can also be used as a precise weight-balance system. Thanks to the glued thread insert in the blank, the entire butt assembly can be changed at any time – without any additional assembly work.
The set is available in diameters Ø 25 mm & Ø 27 mm, in the colors Black, Titan, Gold, Blue, Red, Lime Green & Stainless Steel, as well as with carbon lengths of 10 mm or 16 mm. The carbon section is available in 1K, 3K FireNeedle, or Forged Carbon – each in either glossy or matte finish.
Set contents:
- 1× TAC Butt Assembly Threaded Base Element TBA-01
- 2× TAC Butt Assembly Slim Trim Rings TBA-04
- 1× TAC Butt Assembly Adapter for Woven Carbon TBA-06
- 1× TAC Butt Assembly Thread Insert TBA-02 (for gluing into the blank)
- 1× TAC Carbon in the desired version
The system can optionally be expanded with the TAC Butt Assembly Brass Weight TBA-02:
- 10 mm version: space for 2 weights
- 16 mm version: space for 3 weights
Available in 25 mm or 27 mm.
This allows any blank to be precisely balanced.
