This project started with the idea of depicting a classic English compound action with a high-performance rod. The already legendary CPT Kevlar or glass rods possess a dynamics that offers pure fun in fishing, safety, and robustness. The disadvantage is the high weight and pronounced tip heaviness.
Why not simply modify our Fire Needle rod? The cross-weave construction made from various modulated Toray carbon mats has proven to be extremely robust and reliable in the spinning and fly rod sector! After several prototypes and modifications together with the manufacturer, we have created an alternative to the Kevlar rod that is up to 40% lighter in hand, does not appear tip-heavy at all, and incorporates the entire handle under heavy load. More precise casts compared to Kevlar blanks are guaranteed due to the lower oscillation behavior.
Tri-directionally aligned carbon endless fibers on the blank surface generate incredible performance and toughness. This blank series not only impresses with its unique appearance. Test how well this blank compares to the classics and, in our opinion, sets new standards! Puristically unpolished surface presented in a satin finish.
In 10’ & 11’ as 2.5lb with potential in the handle. Ideal for use with a boat or in close range. In 12’ for just about anything that is fun to fish with light equipment, do not underestimate the casting properties of this model!
