Lightweight fly rod reel seat made of anodized aluminum with various woven carbon inserts or as a skeleton for combination with an individual spacer including an end cap, which must be glued during assembly. One of the two locking nuts is equipped with a Teflon ring to prevent possible contact corrosion. The woven carbon inserts are glued to the reel seat during assembly.
